Music for Manipulation

Just came across this amazing song that I feel would suite a time lapse or high speed montage perfectly. It really gives off a chilled vibe and I can easily imagine seeing the world slowed down or sped up over this wonderful music.

Fruit Decay

We often find ourselves throwing out fruit when it goes off, but we rarely get to see the process that actually led to it being in that state. This video is quite interesting as it shows how these objects seem to pretty much disappear into thin air over time.

Bringing Color To Life

Canon Pixma: Bringing colour to life from Dentsu London on Vimeo.

Here we have some footage from the making of the Canon Pixma 'Bringing Color To Life' advert. By using sound to cause vibrations, specs of paint are launched into the air and mix with each other. High speed cameras capture the moment and the results are beautiful. This could become an art form in itself if it was done with different materials. It really is hard to believe that this is something that could happen in front of us, day after day, and we would never actually notice how incredible it actually is.

Incredible High Speed Water Droplet

Here is some incredible footage shows us how a water droplet acts when dropped onto surfaces. It is quite rare to see such magnified, high speed footage. The results are quite interesting, showing that a droplet can act very different depending on its velocity and what it collides with.

It may be wise to fullscreen this video. I have just uploaded this and I am not sure if the quality will improve once it is done processing.
