Energy and Dynamic Breaking

I really like this video because of the way it was captured. I found the camera panning across the falling objects quite unique and I feel it would need a lot of planning and timing to get right. The on screen data is a nice touch too.

Test 04 - Day to Night

This is pretty much the same as my first car timelapse, but here there is a longer duration and a Day to Night transition. I learned that you should try to do this sort of timelapse on a dry day as by the end of it the lens was quite smudged from water and dirt hitting the cameras lens casing and a lot of things very hard to see because of this.

Also I found that my camera had trouble dealing with the brightness of car lights as it went from day to night. This resulted in sudden changes of brightness when I came up behind cars, but overall it wasn't too noticeable and it was nice to see the day to night transition.

Water Sculptures

This is pretty cool. Obviously a high frame rate is necessary to capture things like this in detail, but it could be done with a lot of materials. I find it interesting that these sculptures are very one off moments that will never be seen in their exact form after the moment has passed.
