Infrared/Projector Skate Ramp Technology

This is quite clever. By using infrared sensors to detect the location of the skateboarder, effects can trail them as they skate on the ramp. Projectors map onto the 3d surface and what we are left with is a very futuristic skate ramp. Although most of what you see is smoke and mirrors, it is still very clever and I can't wait to see what else can be done with this technology in the future.
